Reception

The building is open from 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. On a Wednesday we are open 8.00am to 8.30pm.

The receptionists are available to deal with enquiries between these times.

The surgery building has been designed to provide access and facilities for disabled persons.

Extended Opening Hours

We offer doctor and nurse appointments on Wednesday evenings.

Enhanced Access Clinics

Appointments are available across Hub Enhanced Access sites from 4.00pm to 8.00pm on Mondays to Fridays and 8.30am to 1.00pm on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Emergencies

Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.00pm
Ring the surgery number 01423 867433 for the doctor in an emergency. Each day one of the doctors is responsible for all emergencies and queries. If you need urgent attention your request will be passed on to the duty doctor.

Monday to Friday 6.00 to 6.30pm
When the surgery is closed Monday - Friday between 6.00pm to 6.30pm an out of hours service is provided. If you need a doctor please telephone 01423 224321, your call may be recorded for training purposes.

Monday to Friday 6.30pm to 8.00am and Weekends
When the surgery is closed Monday to Friday between 6.30pm and 8.00am and on a weekend the NHS 111 service is provided. If you need a doctor please telephone 111. Calls to the NHS 111 service are free from both landlines and mobiles.

If you need help when we are closed

  • Use NHS 111 online (111.nhs.uk) or call 111. 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
  • If it’s a life-threatening emergency call 999.

Acute Emergencies

For acute emergencies you should attend the Accident & Emergency Department of your local hospital or dial 999. (An acute emergency is a critical or life-threatening situation and includes things like: chest pain or suspected heart attack, head injury, severe loss of blood, severe breathing difficulties, loss of consciousness, deep wounds, suspected broken bones.)
